Series F1 Electromagnetic Separators with Vane-Type Grids for Dry Materials

For dry granular materials and powders, our Vane-Type F1 Electromagnetic Separators utilize grids made of cast iron or welded steel in various opening sizes to remove fine ferromagnetic particles from a wide range of dry materials and powders. They can be plated or coated to accommodate various processing conditions.

How the F1 Electromagnetic Separator with Vane-Type Grids Works

  1. Material is fed into a hopper (Floor Model) or feed sock (Suspended Model)
  2. Material is processed through a stack of alternately inclined parallel vanes, pouring over each vane edge onto the face of the vane below
  3. Vane edges attract and hold the ferromagnetic particles
  4. Material is discharged through the bottom hub (on both units)
